Open Water Certification

This year we decided we really need to get diver certificates. I'm already have some experience and Sasha was very interested to give it a try. So we booked courses and went ahead. We spend 4 days of our vacations on this boat:



First of all we've got our manuals and was sent to study them. The book cover says (translating from Russian): "Studying diving is a pleasant occupation". Studying diving, not diving itself. Uh-oh.



Aside of a need to study everything else was just superb. One of us got a training as a Titanic captain.



We dove from boat and from motor-boat, in shallow and in deep water, in calm sea and in waves.





Finally, we make it on Zenobia ferry. 2 sessions to one of world's 10 destinations. Fed a lot of fish. Hurt one toe.



And then make a final test with flying colours.



We did it with Zenobia diving center in Larnaka. Olga is our instructor and Antonis is our captain.
